I’m glad you found us! Since 2000, Oh! Toys has brought toys to the United States that stimulate creativity, development and the major fun centers of the brain. We try to offer fun to children, parents, grandparents, artists, designers, architects, and to all the other "children of all ages."
In 2008, we found a variey of new, exciting products from European toy makers. I'm happy to be able to bring some of these great products, in some cases, exclusively, to our site, including:
- Kellner Steckfiguren -- A classic German toy that has not been available in the U.S., Kellner's creations allows you to create your own creatures and scenarios.
- Mader Tops - a collection of exquisitely produced spinning tops that will redefine your idea of what a top can be. Beautiful to look at, wonderful to the touch and just plain fun to play with. Austrian-made.
- Sina's PYROM - an unusual "high-design" construction toy from Germany.
- Tsumiki - construction blocks from Japan. This elegant set with it's novel shapes has been winning awards in Japan and now here.
- Sina's einSTEIN blocks -- a strangely fascinating wooden construction block set from Germany. with unusual shapes and beautiful wood and colors that allow wonderful and eccentric construction "masterpieces."
We are not, as you may notice, a large toy site -- or even a large company. Our small group is here to make these items available to a broader audience than they can usually get in the retail stores in their home countries. We concentrate primarily on construction and kinetic toys -- things that build and things that move. We tend to stay away from electronics in favor of things that challenge the imagination.We look for originality, creativity, craftsmanship and, above all, a "cool" factor -- a concept that stimulates and tickles new parts of the brain. And, I have to admit, we look for those toys, puzzles or games that may appeal equally to children and adults!
