What Inspires Us
We get our biggest kick from parents who share their experiences with the toys we offer. A close second is attending the Toy Fairs to see what great new stuff toy inventors have created.
This past year, we visited Toy Fairs in Nuremberg and New York to look for more cool things, on a par with our “first love,” Cuboro. Above and beyond the building blocks and marble runs that always make us smile, and out of the thousands of toy and game makers, we found several that matched our criteria: Educational, developmental, creatively stimulating. They included:
- Truzzle — Great puzzle? Fine art? I was really taken by this French 3D wooden puzzle concept. Beautiful wood puzzles meticulously contoured into challenging puzzles. Brand new to the market!
- NIC toys — a wonderful line of wooden riding and building toys from Germany that are destined to get played with and stay in the family for generations.
- Matador — for the young builder! Made in Austria, Matador’s construction and tool toys are perfect for the child who is always looking to make new constructions and start using simple tools.
- Kellner Stick Figures — Highly creative toy, with lovable “build-your-own” characters that can be assembled and re-assembled in seemingly infinite combinations
- Varis — for the log construction fan! This Latvian log construction system brings European quality and imagination to this classic toy idea.
We hope you’ll stay and look around — and come back over and over again. And don’t miss our Product Videos!
